WOMEN'S WELLNESS COMMITTEE
STATEMENT
Chi Omega at UCLA has taken note of the increasing reports of sexual assault and harassment on university campuses, including our own. Our chapter is taking proactive steps by creating a Sexual Assault Committee.
This Committee is working to educate our chapter on sexual assault issues not only on our campus but nationwide. By educating and training our sisters, the Committee hopes to provide a safe and reliable space for all. Sexual assault prevention is our key goal but we also aim to be allies for those who have experienced sexual assault. We pride ourselves in being a chapter of believers, no matter if they are our sisters or not, who are always there to listen and act if that is what the survivor requests.
Chi Omega stands in solidarity with women of the UCLA community and all survivors. Above all, we hope that our members will be comforted by the strength of the support system that Chi Omega provides for them in any occasion.
Chi Omega’s Sexual Assault Committee welcomes any feedback
