A LETTER FROM OUR PRESIDENT
Hello and welcome! My name is Allison Meister and I am Chi Omega’s chapter president. I am so excited to share with you why I love being a part of Chi Omega.
Chi Omega is the largest Panhellenic sorority in the world, with over 300,000 initiates and 176 collegiate chapters across the country. Chi Omegas are known on UCLA's campus for being incredibly well-rounded, involved, loyal, open-minded, down-to-earth, and distinguished women. We are extremely career driven and are constantly looking for self-growth. This community of women consistently excels in every aspect of collegiate life, both in and out of the classroom. Chi Omega is a place where you can feel comfortable and supported being yourself forever and always. Our members have found friendships and created meaningful bonds that will undoubtedly last a lifetime. I feel so honored to have 200+ sisters, and I love every single one of these girls with everything I have. How amazing that throughout the ups and downs of college we are blessed with the sweetness of sisterhood.
Chi Omega has been so transformative for my college experience. I have lived in the house for two years now and I will treasure these memories for the rest of my life. I cannot even begin to tell you how Chi Omega has made me a better version of myself. I came into college from Tampa, FL, not knowing a single soul at this campus, and during rush I felt like I truly found a home away from home. It has been my greatest honor to represent the lovely woman of Chi O. I invite you to explore our website to see more of what our chapter has to offer. CHI OMEGA HISTORY
The Gamma Beta Chapter of Chi Omega was the first sorority founded at UCLA. Chi Omega’s installation on Sorority Row in 1923 marked the beginning of Greek Life on campus. Gamma Beta has flourished for more than 75 years at UCLA and strives to continue its reign as one of the top Panhellenic sororities on campus! UCLA Chi O’s are overwhelmingly involved on campus activities such as Dance Marathon, Spring Sing, Campus Tours, and Bruin Woods. When it comes to sisterhood, Chi Omega is proud to have a strong, supportive network of girls who really care about each other. Our mix of enthusiasm, intelligence, and leadership make for an exciting four years of college. Great friendships begin at Chi Omega and last a lifetime.
